World First Solar PV ‘Green Station’ Installation

Barclay Electrical is pleased to announce we have been awarded the contract to install a World First – Solar PV Glass Canopy in Sainsbury’s Petrol Station Forecourts.             The translucent glass will create clean energy in low light conditions, and also from both sides of the panel allowing it to capture much more of the sun’s energy. Harrogate church launches solar panel scheme

St Mark’s Church, on Leeds Road, has fitted 39 solar panels to its roof as part of plans to become “carbon neutral”. It is the first church roof to be fitted with the panels in the diocese of Ripon and Leeds. Rev Guy Donegan-Cross, vicar of St Mark’s, said: “It’s not just about power and financial efficiency.
